Photos From Responses
When most people hear the term "animal rescue organization" their first assumption is often that EARS must be involved in fostering and adopting animals, but when they find out that's not what we do at all, they are often left confused. It's hard to explain to someone what terms like "technical animal rescue," "critical medical care," or "on scene triage" is all about. Essentially, what you often see and hear emergency services doing for people in various situations, our EARS Team does in the same way for animals. These calls include transporting patients that need special care, assisting on scene with pets that are pulled from fires, responding to animal needs during disasters, and very often working side-by-side with human emergency departments to provide control of animal-related incidents. To better demonstrate exactly what it is that we do, here are some selected pictures from animal responses over the years. We occasionally update this page to include more recent photos as well.
